More than one decade after the introduction of regenerative medical technology (RMT) into Mongolia, this technology has advanced from niche to mainstream in this country, and has been acknowledged by experts from major local hospitals.
The widespread use of RMT fuels up the demand for more in-depth knowledge of RMT. Therefore, ISRMWR joining hands with Professor Ding Minghua, Honorary Chairman of Wound Repair Center of Nanshi Hospital Affiliated to Henan University, visited Mongolia for a couple of academic exchanges.
On March 20, Prof. Ding delivered this long-awaited training for about 200 medical professionals from National Traumatology and Orthopedics Research Center as well as National Burn Center of Mongolia. Professor Galbadrakh Erdenetsetse, President of the hospital highly appreciated this training.
On the next day, another training session by Prof. Ding was given to 120 medical professionals in the International Trauma and Postoperative Recurrent Wound Treatment Conference held at the Central Military Hospital of Mongolia.
On March 22, the 5th RMT case competition of Mongolia was presided by Prof. Ding, and Xu Weiwei from ISRMWR. 22 medical professionals from National Traumatology and Orthopedics Research Center, National Burn Center of Mongolia, National Burn Center, Darkhan Hospital, Central Military Hospital, and the First Central Hospital demonstrated cases treated with the best of their efforts using RMT.
This series of academic activities has been delivered with much success, and it adds up to a future in which RMT will benefit more patients globally.
