Rongxiang Xu College of Health and Human Service of California State University, Los Angeles Celebrated the Commencement 2022

The commencement 2022 of Rongxiang Xu College of Health and Human Services (Rongxiang Xu College) of California State University, Los Angeles was held on 27th May 2022. More than 2000 graduates of Rongxiang Xu College celebrated earning their degrees. William Covino, President of the university, and Ronald Vogel, Dean of the Rongxiang Xu College attended and addressed this ceremony.

California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA) is a leading comprehensive public university in the heart of Los Angeles. The College, the first college named after a Chinese doctor at Cal State LA, was founded in 2016.

Among the seven departments in the Rongxiang Xu college, School of Nursing plays an important role in California’s health services and public interests. It has won multiple Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Awards from INSIGHT Into Diversity. This award recognizes medical, dental, pharmacy, orthopedics, nursing, veterinary schools in the U.S. that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.
