UNAI Global Regenerative Medicine & Wound Repair Workshop - Burn Management was Successfully Held Online

The Burn Management webinar was held on 27th April 2022 by International Society of Regenerative Medicine and Wound Repair (ISRMWR) with over 200 medical professionals participated. The participants came from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Mongolia, the United States, Tunisia and South America etc., and they specialized in various clinical fields including wound and trauma, surgery, plastic surgery and general practice etc.

The webinar invited 4 speakers from Indonesia, Mongolia, Malaysia and the Philippines covering essential fields of burn management. Dr. Aryanto Habibie introduced basic assessment of burn including burn degree and burn size etc. Whereafter, Dr. Uuganbayar Choijil thoroughly introduced systematic management especially fluid resuscitation and infection prevention. For burn wound management, Dr. Wong Kee Ai shared her rich experience in burn wound management including surgical procedure and wound dressing. At last, Dr. Gene Estandian introduced the mechanism and advantage of regenerative medical technology in burn management and demonstrated a few extensive burn cases successfully treated by regenerative medical technology. This webinar was highly praised by participants for building a valuable platform for global burn experts to communicate.

The UNAI workshops have been continuously carried out around the world since the establishment of the ISRMWR in 2018. ISRMWR is always aimed at constantly providing high-quality medical trainings, promoting the development of regenerative medical technology, and accelerating the development of wound management worldwide.
