The CGIU COVID-19 Student Action Fund

Clinton Global Initiative University launched the COVID-19 Student Action Fund at the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGIU) Meeting on April 18, 2020.

President Bill Clinton announced the establishment of the CGIU COVID-19 Student Action Fund, which was initiated by Clinton and supported by Kevin Xu, president of the International Society of Regenerative Medicine and Wound Repair.

This action fund is geared towards awareness and prevention campaigns, social enterprises, infectious disease monitoring and response systems, and other emergency response initiatives that are providing immediate support for public health practitioners and other essential workers on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kevin Xu said that as the COVID-19 spreads around the world, diversified and valuable viewpoints will play an important role in epidemic prevention and control, scientific research, data collection, economic and social recovery, and public health. As an important platform for discussing and formulating innovative solutions to global challenges, CGIU plays a due role and make contributions to promoting the realization of new ideas and the well-being of human society.

As an international border-less platform for medical professionals, doctors, researchers dedicating to the development and promotion of regenerative life science. ISRMWR will collaborate with CGI and together with medical providers around the world to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
